SINGAPORE > DOHA > BUENOS AIRES
We booked a 21-day land tour with SouthAmerica.travel for a total of US$20,102, excluding the International and internal air tickets, which costs another US$9,533. We flew Qatar Airway from Singapore to Buenos Aires, which departed from Singapore on 5 March 0205 hrs, arriving Doha at 0450 hrs local time. There, we spend 3 hrs 5 mins in transit, before flying off to Buenos Aires with a stopover at Sao Paulo (1hr 15 mins). We arrived Buenos Aires at 2030 hours, and was transferred to our hotel Hotel Melia Buenos Aires. We did not explore around the hotel as we were dead tired from the long hours of flying, and spend the night resting in the hotel. Day 2 was pretty much free and easy as we await for the rest of the tour members from overseas to arrive to begin our tour. We spend most of the day at the outdoor shopping area and Plaza de Mayor, which are walking distance from our hotel. We also headed to Las Cañitas, which is a small area covering just a few blocks within the wider area of Palermo, Buenos Aires’ most fashionable neighbourhood. The Meliá Buenos Aires hotel is located in the modern Catalins area, only a few yards away from the famous Florida Street and the elegant Plaza San Martin, making it ideal for business or leisure travelers. The hotel's privileged location gives guests a chance to walk to the great restaurant options in Puerto Madero, Calle Florida Peatonal or the exclusive Recoleta. Just a few minutes from the financial district of Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada and the Catedral Metropolitana. |

BUENOS AIRES
Departing from our hotel, we headed north, direction Tigre 29km northeast of Buenos Aires from where we took take a boat ride in the Paraná River Delta to enjoy the natural beauty of this region and get to know better the customs, culture and ways of life of the "isleños" (people who live on the islands of the Delta). On our way back to the hotel, we saw the northern suburban districts and the residential neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires. Hotel Melia Buenos Aires |

BUENOS AIRES > PUERTO IGUAZU ARGENTINA
We were transferred to Buenos Aires Domestic Airport to take a flight to Igauzu to visit the amazing Iguazu Waterfall from the Argentina side. Compared to Niagara Fall and Victoria Fall, I think Iguazu Fall is much prettier due to the surrounding landscape. The Iguazú National Park, located at eighteen kilometres from Puerto Iguazú, was declared Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The famous falls are inside this Park. The Iguazú Falls on the border with Brazil are one of the world's natural wonders. Lined with dense forests, the Iguazú river flows into 275 waterfalls, plunging more than 70 meters with a deafening noise. As this huge volume of water reaches the bottom, spray rises, and lots of rainbows are formed in the sky. Hotel International Golden Tulip Foz Iguassu |
