The accommodation at Stonebarn sleeps 12, comprising 6 suites – each being 50 square meters with en-suite bathrooms containing claw foot baths, glass showers and sunken french double basins with separate toilets. Rooms feature four-poster, king-size beds and a small balconies overlooking the lake and the trufflerie. The lovely and exclusive B&B was managed by Greg (when we visited & stayed in 2010). Coffee & tea throughout the premise was free. There is a beautiful catchment lake stocked with Trout & Marron. Guests can try their hands in fishing ( catch & release ) or get them cooked at a fee in the kitchen. The men had absolutely a ball of their time fishing! Lots of books & magazines are provided and even painting & drawing materials are free and available for guests who wanna be "artist" for a day. For an easy stroll or walking trails, there are a few walking trails for guests to enjoy the tranquility of the environment. And of course we took so many photos! |

This makes for a great family activity and fishing aficionados can try out the special fly-fishing dam. Since you’ll be catching your meal, freshness is guaranteed, and as a chef cooks up your catch you can sample the smoked trout or smoked trout pâté and marron. Rods can be hired and tours are available. |
